About Bay Trust Radio

Bay Trust Radio has been delivering high-quality broadcasting since 1977, proudly operating from our studios at Westmorland General Hospital in Kendal. Over the decades, we’ve grown to reach more hospitals and expand our presence within the wider community, always remaining committed to informing, entertaining, and connecting people across the region.

Taking pride in providing entertainment, music and news 24 hours a day across the hospitals of South Cumbria, North Lancashire and the Fylde Coast and across the world online.

Not only does Bay Trust Radio provide this much loved service but it brings a community of people together with a common goal. People of all backgrounds are welcomed into a much loved family in our hospitals.

Bay Trust Radio is a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), charity number 1193959.

Our former unincorporated charity, Bay Trust Radio (charity number 506296), has now been dissolved and is no longer registered with the Charity Commission.

We are entirely volunteer-led, with a passionate team from across the area who give their time and skills to keep the station running 24/7.
